Community guidelines
Community is for talking about games and prices with people who take them seriously. These rules keep it worth reading. Moderators can hide posts and restrict accounts that break them.
01Be respectful
Disagree with the pick, not the person. Argue with numbers, reasons and sources.
02No harassment or hate
No slurs, threats, targeted abuse, or attacks on anyone for who they are. Don't pile on, and don't follow people around the site.
03No scams, and no selling picks
No selling picks, no paid groups or "VIP" channels, no subscriptions, no tip jars, and no asking anyone for money in any form.
04No guaranteed-win claims
Nobody can promise a result. Posts that claim a sure thing, a lock that can't lose, or a fixed game are removed.
05No spam or referral-link dumping
No affiliate or sportsbook referral links, no promo codes, no shortened links, and no posting the same thing over and over.
06Don't impersonate Rift or anyone else
Only cards labelled RIFT OPPORTUNITY carry Rift's numbers. Don't pass off your own pick as Rift's, and don't pose as staff, a moderator or another member.
07No manipulation
No coordinated voting, fake accounts, brigading, or attempts to move a line or mislead other members.
08Keep it legal and keep it private
Nothing illegal. Don't post anyone's personal information, including your own account details.
If something breaks the rules
Use Report on the post, reply or profile. Reports go to moderators only; the member is never told who reported them. You can also mute someone (you stop seeing them) or block them (neither of you sees the other, and they can't reply to or mention you).
Rift is a paper-trading research tool. Nothing in Community is betting advice, and no one here can place a bet for you.
