1. What Rift is - and is not

Rift is an information and analysis service. It shows where a statistical model's estimate of a sporting outcome differs from prices published by sportsbooks, and keeps a record of how those estimates performed.

• Rift is not a sportsbook, bookmaker, or gambling operator. Rift does not accept, place or settle wagers.
• Rift has no relationship with, and is not endorsed by, any sportsbook. Prices shown are observed from third parties and may be delayed or wrong.
• Rift never holds your money for wagering and cannot sign in to any sportsbook account.
• Nothing on Rift is financial, investment, or betting advice, or a recommendation to wager.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old - or older where the law where you live sets a higher age for gambling-related services - to use Rift or to subscribe. You confirm your age when you subscribe; we record that confirmation and the policy version, not your date of birth. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply where you are, including whether sports wagering is legal there. Rift may not be used where its use is unlawful.

3. No guarantee; limits of the model and data

• Sports are uncertain. Past performance, including any record Rift displays, does not predict future results.
• Models can be wrong, data can be late, incomplete or incorrect, and prices move. Rift does not guarantee any outcome, profit, accuracy, or availability.
• Any decision to wager is yours alone, at your own risk, with a licensed operator where lawful.

4. Plans, subscription and recurring billing

• Rift Free costs nothing, is permanent, and is limited in what it shows.
• Rift Pro costs $29.99 per month or $299 per year (annual saves $60.88, 16.9%, compared with twelve monthly payments). Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes we are required to collect.
• A Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period and your payment method is charged the then-current price, until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change takes effect for your renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Rift never receives or stores your full card number.

5. Free trial and conversion

New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial of Pro. You pay $0 when the trial starts. A payment method is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and you are charged the plan price at the exact time shown when you started, and then every month or year until you cancel. We send a reminder about 24 hours before the first charge where we are able to. One introductory trial is available per person, household payment method, and account; we may decline or end a trial that repeats an earlier one.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing → Cancel, without contacting anyone. You may be asked, optionally, why you are leaving and shown one alternative (for example switching to annual billing); you can always continue the cancellation from that screen. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the trial or the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again. After that your account becomes Rift Free. Cancelling never deletes your account, positions, preferences, community profile or referral record; deleting your data is a separate request under the Privacy Policy.

7. Refunds

Refunds are described in the Refund Policy. A refund or a payment dispute (chargeback) ends Pro access for the period it covers.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, the provider will retry. If you have paid before, you keep Pro for a short grace period that your account page states; if the first payment after a trial fails, Pro is not active until payment succeeds. Your data is never deleted because a payment failed.

9. Promo codes, credits and how they combine

• Promo codes are optional, issued at our discretion, and may have an expiry date, a total limit, a one-per-customer limit, or be limited to first-time, returning, or referred members. They have no cash value.
• One promo code per subscription. A promo is never a second free trial.
• Order of application: a promo discount is applied to the invoice first; any service credit (for example a referral reward) is then applied to the amount that remains. A free-month promo cannot be combined with referral credit.
• We may refuse or reverse a code or credit obtained by misuse, including repeated accounts or payment methods.

10. Referrals

The referral programme is governed by the Referral Terms.

11. Your account

• Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at [Support email not yet configured — launch blocker] if you suspect unauthorised use.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• Community features, where available, are also governed by the Community Guidelines.

12. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use Rift for your own personal, non-commercial information. You may not:

• resell, redistribute, publish or systematically copy Rift's analysis, prices or records, or run a tipping or picks service from them;
• scrape, crawl, or access Rift by automated means, or interfere with its security or operation;
• use Rift where sports wagering or such information services are unlawful, or to help anyone under the minimum age gamble;
• create multiple accounts or use others' payment methods to obtain trials, promotions or referral rewards;
• misrepresent Rift or your relationship with it.

13. Intellectual property

Rift's software, models, analysis, text and design are owned by [Legal entity not yet configured — launch blocker] or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Rift under these terms while your account is in good standing. Team names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify events.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts other members or Rift at risk. You may stop using Rift at any time. If we close a paid account without cause we will refund the unused part of the current period.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Rift is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for any wagering losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Rift in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
